It's XOXO time :)

It's February 9th, and that means it's time for a new XOXO scraplift challenge! Come on by the XOXO challenge blog and take a peek at the fab layouts the Lipstick Chicks have made just for you! Pick one, or pick them all...each layout you lift is another chance to win a great prize from this month's sponsor, Candy Shoppe Designs (who just happens to be our sister site!) The pic of the prize isn't available just yet, but head on over in the meantime and check out their Blog Hop MEME going on. Pretty rad prize, I'll tell you!
Anyway, here's the layout I created for this month's scraplift extravaganza...it's hubby and I during "our song" at our wedding. See the silver mist I made myself :) Yeah, I'm hooked on making my own mist (and I got some Michael's giftcards for my birthday last month, so I'm headed this weekend to pick up the Pearl Ex powder set I don't have, meaning I can do just about every color imaginable :) YAY!) The papers used are all random scraps from my stash. I'm trying *SO HARD* not to buy more just yet. I need to make room for more first (at least that's what hubby tells me...little does he know I snuck an Imaginisce sheet home the other day! HA!)

The Chip Chop Shop doily. Random balloon brad with a Stickles heart. Herringbone pattern cut out of something I printed from the internet, again with more Stickles. (Funny, I commented on a fellow DT's work today and said something along the lines of "You and your Stickles..." Well, I guess I could say the same about myself!) The balloon "string" is actually a black twist tie I cut in half...it was holding together the earbuds for the iPod Nano I got for Christmas, and if you know me well, you'll know that the cute little case it came in is also up there, ready for altering :)

American Crafts Remarks sticker "believe" and Stickles for the title. Punched edge using Fiskars border punch. The ric-rac-y strip there is from the Nikki Sivils Sugar Cookie paper pad.
What fun little cluster, huh? The Chip Chop Shop sells these dyed fiber strands, dyed to match perfectly other items in her shop (kind of like the doily up above :) and I used that here as a bow. MME ticket, more Stickles. A heart made of random bling with more STICKLES. Oh, and Leann over at The Chip Chop Shop also made that adorable heart flower button dimensional thingy.

Thanks for looking, hope you can play along with us! I'll be looking for your layouts :) I was scraplifted last month, what an honor! One gal who lifted me even received honorable mention :) How cool is that? So c'mon by and get liftin'! I've been pretty sick, so I'm still resting, but I think I can sit upright now without my head exploding or shivering uncontrollably. Stupid winter. I'll be catching up in my craft room, expect some heavy posting later!
