Dream Valley Challenge #50: Valentines!

Yup, it's almost that time...the day you either love or hate...Valentine's Day! So for this challenge at Dream Valley Challenges, show us your *LOVE*ly creations (tee hee...see what I did there?) Card, layout, gift for your sweetie, jewelry, altered item, whatever! As long as the theme is sweet, sappy love.

Our sponsor, offering four free digital images to the winner, is Meljen's Designs! These stamps are adorable, so you'll want to enter!

I used one of Meljen's images for my project. Isn't it cute? Not sure who the lucky recipient will be just yet :) (And I apologize about the pics...I was kind of in a rush when it was photographed, and the sun decided to stay behind the clouds that day.)

Colored with my Spectrum Noir markers (because its a digi, the printer ink decided to be difficult with the smaller heart's face which you can see has bled a bit. I recommend giving lots of time for the printer ink to dry prior to pulling out your markers, as well as being careful when coloring around the lines!) The swirls around the hearts, as well as the stitched lines, are embellished with Crystal Stickles. I added the Stickles to the heart's eyes, finishing with a dot of Black Opal Liquid Pearls.

LOVE this burlap! The papers, die cuts, and burlap were in a recent challenge prize pack. I love the colors! I pleated the ribbon, random from my stash, and added some heart bling.

There you have it! I hope you can play along with us over at Dream Valley Challenges! You have until 2/16 to be considered for the prize.

xoxo
Khristen
