Pinspired Challenges was created by a group of girls that LOVE Pinterest and crafting.... We came up with the idea of the challenge in the latter part of 2012 and the challenges launched in January of 2013.  Our DT, or as we like to call them, "Pin Heads" have scoured Pinterest to bring you some amazing inspirational pins.  We will post a brand new challenge on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. You will have until Thursday of the following week to link your entry onto the challenge post.  That's 9 whole days to play along!!!! Inspirational photos are for you to interpret anyway you want.  You can take from the colors, the style or the technique - whatever floats your boat! You can also feel free to make any kind of craft you want as well, whether its a card, layout or altered item.

The challenge: be inspired by the Pinterest image above. What lovely colors, how can you not be inspired by that? Here's what I came up with:

I used Sheena's A Little Bit Floral - Magnolia Blossom for this card, isn't that image beautiful? I started with a sheet of pale blue cardstock, inking the edges with Memento Rich Cocoa. After stamping the image, I used my Spectrum Noir pens and a fun technique called palette blending, which you can find on the Spectrum Noir website here. I used CR4, CR1, and CT2 for the petals, LG2 and LG5 for the leaves, and EB2 and EB3 for the branch. Then I stamped the sentiment in the Rich Cocoa I inked the edges with, which comes from the Stamp It Australia Unmounted Stamp Set 60 - Friendship Sentiments. this was mounted on Heidi Swapp Sugar Chic floral paper, which was in turn adhered to a pretty doily. A piece of twine finishes it off!

So if you are hopping along, you should be headed to Lalo's blog next. Enjoy, and if you get lost, here's the lineup:

Khristen**you are here**

Happy hopping!
