Lotsa lotsa cards!!!!

I am furiously trying to finish my Christmas cards. I am close, but still not done. Last night, a friend of mine brought herself (and her stamps and Cricut carts I DON'T have LOL) to my house for a little crafty fun. My husband laughed at us, thinking we were crazy, as we reacted to each other's ideas/materials/finished product. We didn't care...the wine was good, the conversation was good, and she was THRILLED to be able to play around with my wallpaper books. I even let her take one home with her! Yeah, she's in heaven...if you have a hardware store near you, get your patootie in there and request that when they are ready to throw away the sample books, to call you to pick them up. I don't know if you've seen modern wallpaper...flocking, beads, FAB colors/patterns...you'll want a chance to have them, I promise!

Ok....lots of cards for challenges. Here they are, along with my best attempt at figuring out what was made for a challenge and what wasn't...

This one was made for the Sketches in Thyme Tuesday Take card sketch. MME papers, random ribbon scraps, Frosted Lace Stickles around sentiment circle, pink paislee alpha stickers. The big circle is distressed with my Heidi Swapp edge distresser....easier to control than scissors.

Here is one for the Mojo Monday blog challenge. MME papers, gold embossed sentiment stamped on vellum, Bo Bunny Ribbon, random star brads from my stash.

My Take:

This one is for the Fairymoon Crafts blog challenge, to make a green and white card...MME Holiday Ave glittery embossed paper for background, striped paper is from the MME Complete Boy collection. Star punched out of same paper. All inked around, starburst shape cut from the MME holiday paper. Fuzzy button from The Chip Chop Shop. Lace random from my collection.

This one is an entry for the Colorful Creations blog challenge. (I am currently trying to work on the layout for this, as I need a break from cards!) MME papers, Prima flowers w/MM brad in center, punched circles, doily from The Chip Chop Shop. Sentiment cut from my Cricut using the Jasmine cartridge, Studio G glitter glue to give the sentiment shimmer. More Heidi Swapp edge distresser use here :)

My take:

TFL, I'll be posting more cards later, just waiting for the glue to dry LOL

Thanks girl for the great comments on my blog! I had fun reading them.
You were right with your answer that I had the easiest job traveling. The boys are great travelers, I like to drive, dogs are good travelers too (except for one and she is a little nervous traveler and won't go to the bathroom. She once held it for 4 days!!) You should have seen us every time she got up we were rushing her outside, worried she would go in the hotel room...lmao And she would just wander around and not go.... Now I don't worry about it. If she goes, she goes.
Wow, I guess that is enough bathroom talk!! LOL
Love your cards. Good luck getting everything done and hope you get to work on a lo soon!! ha
