A couple of layouts

Good morning! I hope everyone's new year is off to a great start. As for me, I returned our house to pre-Christmas condition, complete with some furniture rearranging and organizing. Good stuff.

Here is one I did a couple of days ago for a Colorful Creations sketch challenge, using a Colorful Creations original sketch. This is an old pic of my now 11 year old, her first professional portrait session at 2 months old.

My Mind's Eye Breaking Free Fruit Flavored "You & Me" Hawaiin Style, "Lovin Life" Fruity Stripes and Flip & Flirt, and "Oh So Very Hot" Sun Kissed Stars papers. Pink and red acrylic paint mixed to make the deeper shade of pink to mat the photo. Cotton Candy Stickles that smooshed in my scanner, obviously not as dry as I thought they were LOL. Colorbok glitter alpha, and glitter Thickers for the title. The "s" is really an "8" cut to make an "s" as I was out of them. The flowers, small and large, are cut from the Hawaiin Style paper.

This is the latest Sassy Lil' Sketch, and the circles on this one just jumped out at me.

I loved the simplicity of the sketch and the circle of circles, so I pretty much stuck to the sketch, adding doodles here and there. All I had to do was use my Cricut to cut out 2 circles of each patterned paper. I think I made 2" circles, not really sure though. I started it 2 days ago and completed it yesterday, my brain is a little fuzzy!

My Mind's Eye Totally Girl collection for all paper. KI Good Tidings ribbon. Fiskars border punch used for strip of MME paper. Ric rac. MME Flip n Flirt "Sisters" small accessories (flower), "Summertime" Girl small accessories (flourish), and Sun Kissed "Only Smiles" Girl small accessories (flower) for the 3 chipboard elements. American Crafts Remarks Beckett sticker alpha in Dandelion. Journal spot is from The Chip Chop Shop. Square brad is Bazzill Simply Squares in Flamingo.

More craftiness today, except today I am focusing on my business. I haven't made anything to sell in so very long, and I feel now is the time. My new year's resolution is to get in the room at least 3 days out of the week for strictly business items. We'll see if I can stick to it, I am in the middle of another layout for a challenge, a 2 pager. I'm sure it will call to me at some point!

I just finished this Sassy sketch myself. Those circles called to me too although I interpreted them in a different way.

I LOVE your interpretation!! So lovely! I just love all the details.

And I think the other layout is cool too! You rocked them both!
