Crafter's Companion August Challenge: Animals Are Everywhere

Good afternoon! I have so very many projects to show you, but you'll just have to be patient :) Let's start with the August challenge over at the Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog. This month, we want to see animals on your project. Head on over to review the rules and play along with us! Here's what I came up with:

I love this fun tag, which I will use on an upcoming layout. Tags are so versatile, and for that, I love them :) I started by misting the tag with a homemade mist (2 parts water, one part Mod Podge, one scoop Pearl Ex - Flamingo Pink in a Mini Mister, shake well and spray away!) When it was dry, I stamped this adorable duck, part of the Popcorn the Bear - Party Time EZ Mount Stamp Set. I colored him with my Spectrum Noir pens (Duck: CT1, CT3, CT4, OR2, OR3; Cupcake wrapper: BP2, BP6; Cupcake: LY1; Frosting: BT3; Candy pieces: TB7) and added some fun washi tape and Distress Stickles in Mustard Seed.  Multiple strands of twine matching colors in my project complete the tag!

Don't forget to play along with the challenge, I can't wait to see what you create!

Also, don't miss Crafter's Companion's big birthday sale this week. They're celebrating 6 years, and offering some great deals and freebies! Check them out, and watch for a project tomorrow morning  here on my blog featuring these freebie stamps!

A Completed Order, And A Winner!

Good evening! Today, I was finally able to ship out a potty chart order, a sweet girly train chart, after spending the day yesterday fighting computer problems. What an exhausting day! Anyway, here is the completed chart:

Cute, right? I hope Sophia loves it!

I kept it quick because I know the *real* reason you are reading this post: to see who the winner of my Crafter's Companion Barkley stamp winner is! Random.org has chosen.....

PATTI L!

Since you have been so kind as to provide your email address, I have sent an email requesting your address information. If I do not hear back from Patti in 24 hours, I will be choosing another winner. Congratulations, Patti! Get your address to me so that I can provide it to Crafter's Companion for them to mail your adorable stamp to you!

Watch for a project to be posted tomorrow. :)   Have a great night!

Crafter's Companion DT Giveaway Extravaganza!

Good morning, and welcome to August! Has your summer slipped right through your fingers? I know mine has, and I'm hoping to make it to the beach before it disappears altogether!

So, if you didn't know, the Crafter's Companion DT has started a new term and added some new members. As such, we thought we'd do a little giveaway in celebration! That's why I love CC so very much :)

I have chosen to give away the new Barkley - Let It Snow stamp set, mostly due to his cuteness.

Want a chance to win? Leave a comment below. That's it! Don't forget to head over to the CC blog to see the list of participating DT members. We all chose our favorite set to give away, maybe yours is there somewhere, up for grabs!
